Fini Bearman
Fini Bearman is a London based singer, songwriter and composer. Her music melds influences as diverse as jazz, folk and contemporary music into an ‘arresting and uniquely personal’ sound. Sometimes dealing with settings of poetry or pre-existing texts, and other times with original lyrics or open, wordless evocations, this music is honest yet witty, mixing lush harmony and orchestration with contemporary grooves.
Fini released her latest album ‘Burn the Boat’ in October 2016 and it has already received much glowing reviews from peers and critics including ****’s from Jazzwise, allaboutjazz, the Guardian and the arts desk.

For our first Two Spoons Live of 2020 Fini collaborates with the wonderful, award-winning keyboard player Tom Cawley. Old-fashioned song writing with contemporary electronic soundscapes drawing influences from James Blake, Little Dragon and Paul Simon, these songs combine soaring melodies with emotive harmonies and explore themes from love to millennial existential angst.
